Hey-oO there!
I stumbled across this surface a while ago and it just blew me away. Link: https://www.dananddave.com/collections/a......-surface Of course it is very expensive but also limited edition and the craftsmanship really looks great. Don't really know if I'll ever buy this mainly because it would be an extra $140 for the shipping to Romania. Does anyone have any insights on this? Maybe a friend who bought it? Or just throw in some of your opinions about the product! Thanks -Matt

I don't own the Zebrano surface, but I do own one of their shuffle pads and it's incredibly nice. It looks like they use the same material, and it's great for shuffle and coin work. Yeah pricey, but the surface is durable and pliant without being so soft that I feel like it's eating my fingers.
Again, I don't own the Zebrano pad, but if it's as good as the smaller shuffle pads then it's a very high quality item.

Dan and Dave have a reputation for quality and this pad looks fantastic. I had never heard of zebra wood before. I personally have not seen or felt this pad, and not suggesting any opinion. It looks close to the material used for our Pattrick's Magical Surfaces Plush Close Up Mats at www.pattricksmagic.com
Check out the video link on the home page to see the materials we use. Also shipping this size mat is even larger without the wood backing to Romania should be about $23.00 USD. Just another option
check out www.pattricksmagic.com for the best in close up pads and tables.

You could buy a piece of zebra wood and make three 16"x 24" boards yourself with some very basic wood working skills and then cover them with pattricks matts for half the price dananddave are selling them for. Just something to think about. Also keep in mind you can only see the trim of the most expensive part of this mat, the "exotic wood". You could make a platform from very cheap wood and use exotic wood for the trim cutting costs even more.
