Me personally, it would probably be a Gambler's Cop or a False Shuffle.

That's a hard question! I don't know where I'd be without at least a DL, Elmsley Count, False Shuffle and Double Undercut.

Probably a Zarrow Shuffle.

What I think I'm seeing here is workhorse utility sleights here - ones that can act as forces, controls, false shuffles, transpositions etc. Which makes sense. Palm, or maybe DL, maybe argued to be the single most useful in this regard.

I'd go with the spread cull .... it can be used as a control,a force, and key card placement. I think it was Matt Schulien that said all you need to do great card magic is a force a control and a palm, and it was Meatloaf that said 2 out of three ain't bad .... LOL

Hmmm, tough one here....I think maybe DL just for its effectiveness, though a good pass can work wonders as well.

Double lift. A double can be used for a transposition, prediction, ambitious card, etc. I love the Zarrow shuffle and tons of other moves, but if I could only do one that would it.

Rainboguy,
I really like the idea of the card-handler who can do only a completely invisible one-handed top palm. Only that one move, even without a replacement, could accomplish a lot of miracles.
