I am a huge fan of 'The Mental Mysteries of Hector Chadwick'. However I never got a chance to buy a copy of the first edition.

It is my understanding that a trick was removed from the book in the subsequent reprints.

Well - I have always been curious as to what this effect was?

It is unlikely I will ever get a chance to learn it. But if possible - could somebody tell me what category of effect it was or a brief description of the effect? I am just curious to learn a little more about this mysterious "lost" trick.
