My first cane was a German appearing metal cane, I bought in maybe 1971. I opened it on the ride home, and it smacked the side window with a loud bang. Didn't break it, but I think my mom broke the sound barrier, considering how fast she reacted!

There was a magic shop in CA in the 70s, not too far from LA, where a boy opened a metal cane and it scarred his chin. He got 10 grand and the shop closed.
I once had two thousand dollars I put in my pocket but there was a hole. When I reached in I said “I don’t feel two grand”
