Interesting utility device! I’m looking forward to trying this out in the shop. A key point is that it can handle large coins and items up to dollar size, as well as smaller change.
I like the fact that you can have this visible or hidden away. If the ‘look’ of it suits you.. you’re good to go with short sleeves. I perform in a shirt and jacket, so it’s hidden away. MoM have it on the site right now, currently with free worldwide shipping here https://www.magicshop.co.uk/evanesce It’s due to ship out to everyone on May 30th hope this helps Dominic

Hopefully,You don't have to wear that huge leather thing. I also wear a jacket when performing, but that thing is so big that I don't believe my dress shirt sleeves or jacket sleeves will be able to cover it. Also, I'm guessing that you could get extreme wrist sweat from wearing it? But, if it comes in a watch size than that would be great. Will wait and see.

I got the impression from watching the video that the huge leather thing was the gimmick.
I can see Criss Angel or Dan Sperry wearing this. Me, not so much. Dave |

I love the stock footage of people making leather stuff to make it seem more high end. So believable.

Looks like the wrist thingy is the gimmick, I guess that will pop out to your audience if its not your style, hopefully we get some options

I got to try this. It is exquisite if it fits your style. Not one spectator thought to even question the band. EVERY magician did. Think like a spectator and you'll love this!

I live in Hawaii and I wore it day and night for a day to see. No sweat and I sweat more than most. It is raised a bit off the arm and it is all leather with the exception of the raiser. It is not noticeable. I really love this!

It does look very interesting. StarManager, how well does it remain in position, especially does it have a tendency to slide towards the wrist a lot (I had this issue with another armband-style thing...)

Getting very smooth. Same as sleeving with less need to "shoot" straight. The collector is a rubberized material that keeps it comfortable and in place yet is not making me sweat at all. The video is a great tutorial too. Surprised how detailed it is and how many fast chapters. All you see in the trailer is taught in detail, and then some. I've cut the insides down a bit for less of a "rise" off the wrist and widened it to comfortably fit Half Dollars and Dollars. Dollars were tough before the cut and they tell you how to do it on the video. Very easy. 1 minute with an Xacto knife. Very happy with this. Gonna work a lot for me.

Looks terrible the most suspicious looking gimmick I have ever seen even if someone doesn't know what it is they must ask why it looks awful if its supposed to look trendy . You are better off with sleeves than showing this monstrosity imo complete tat Tarik 👎🏽

The value here is that you can wear it all the time and always be ready for switches, appearances and total vanishes. I am using it most to ditch Lassen coins and be left clean instead of dirty. In fact - I usually go to a rear pocket magnet, and now I can go absolutely clean, then drop hand later and move to the mag. It really has its place. Won't work for a 9 year old kid and won't work for a 74 year old with a beer belly and a WWII baseball cap . . . (not saying 74 year olds are fat or fought for our country . . . ) but IF your style can handle this it is a viable and beautifully conceived holdout. Finally - the work on the instructions works equally well for general sleeving and is very well done. A solid investment for my money.

I think it is suited more for a bigger guy. Though the creator is fine using it and he is very small. It's about style. I wore something like this anyway so it resonated in style for me. What is the repeat appear and vanish topic alternative to this that can be always ready and done in shirtsleeves? Nothing really! So I appreciate this. It has its place!

For me, the issue here is one of proximity...
What was next to the coin as it vanished from his single bare hand? - that big leather thing that literally draws attention to itself. |

There is also time misdirection - it doesn't need to vanish the second you topit. I'm actually "picking" up the coin from my hand (it already isn't there) and mime squeezing it in the other hand. It disappears from the non dirty hand and everyone gasps. The studs are a pattern and the bucket are chrome. It's innocent looking. Watch the video again. You can't even tell he gets a coin near the thing. Personally I'm loving it.

I was actually referring to the single handed vanish shown on the trailer and mentioned above.
In any case, I like to assume my audience is at least as intelligent as I am. I do not think it is a huge logical jump (even for a non magician) to assume that this large leather strap attached to the performers wrist and in close proximity to the performers hands, might be part of the modus operandi. As I say, it literally draws attention to itself. If it works for you then great. |
