I'm living in a German speaking Country.
Is anybody aware of good german psychological forces? Or some material on how to create such forces? |

Quite a few of the psychological forces work in any language.
You might need to modify some of them a bit, but not much

This isn't really a psychological force but it LOOKS like one...as in the audience don't see any props being used... This is what the audience see....you name out loud say the numbers from one to ten...and whilst naming them.. One spectator thinks of one...and that's how its forced...

I cannot recommend the original Psychological Subtleties book enough. If you haven't read it, it really is a must.

I am from Russia, we have another alphabet and some differences in everyday experience and realities but most psychological forces work perfect in Russia too. And yes, sometimes it is needed some localization. I would advise also to look for statistics related to that particular country. Sergey.

Peter Turner has at least one book on psychological forces (one for , and one general, I believe), and I'm pretty sure some of them would be applicable in German. Excellent book series.

Peter plays with those ideas in many of his other books too - those ideas are quite a universal and sure works in German too... But with those methods you have to be bold and be ready for misses too - but that's belongs to life - if I remember right Peter guarantees about 80 % success

My favourite is the Chris Ramsey one on his ATT lecture "What's the heaviest card". FFS.

Peter Turner puts the 'force' into 'psychological force'.

Another vote for Psychological Subtleties, but I've seem other good ones elsewhere (Bob Cassidy mental screen is a classic). Once you get the knack, you can even create them yourself.

Naked Mentalism by John Thompson has some very usable data in it that seems to hit the mark more often than not.
