Could you theoretically use this exactly like an Ostin clip? Does it provide the same illusion if used that way?

Jared, I think the black frame acts to separate the two "elements" for shipping, nothing more.
Last Laugh, yes, you can use this exactly like an Ostin Clip. |

This is an improvement and will last forever (essentially). I'm really glad I bought it and I will use it. If you're on the fence, take the plunge it's really a quality device and not that much money. Great thinking Chris!

A great improvement over the Ostin clip. You can clearly show this loaded. When chris first showed me this I was floored.

I have a few questions if anyone could help.
Is this an instant reset or does it have to be reset in private ? Is there anything to break ? Finally does anyone stock this in the UK ? |

The Executive Clip was a huge seller at Magic Live. Penguin sold out before the end of the convention.

Looks just like Switch clip by Magic from Holland and Ray Joel?
Which is best or came first? |

Just to third the question - do any UK shops sell this?
|
|||||||||
mwmagic Loyal user 262 Posts |
Yes, Switch clip is readily available in the UK.
Or, just buy a chrome 76mm bulldog clip and make one up. I will not tip the methods, but switch clip comes premade and execurtive clip does not. My assessment is executive clip has advantages over the switch clip. But that's merely my opinion. I do not know which is the noisiest as I do not own them, just now know exactly the methods employed. |

Is that correct - that with Executive Clip you do NOT get the gimmick
WIth Executive Clip you get the instructions on how to make your own one Is that correct [?] So if I got a download version [if they are sold] I would be missing nothing [?] that seems awesome for UK buyers - though $50 for a DVD [no gimmick] seems expensive... but as I say great for UK buyers if you are getting everything if you get the down load only |

For executibe clip the components cost about $5 and yes you get these with the instructions. Switch clip comes premade with extra material too. The materials are slightly cheaper to buy. That said you may want to support the inventors and buy the full packages. I lot of effort goes into the refinements.

FWIW, I just received Executive clip today and it came mostly assembled. The billet/Bill/Card of course needs to be made, but the clip gimmick was ready to go.
And can confirm that this thing is way louder than an Ostin clip. Hmm...
