This week we have a delightful chat via Skype with Terry Herbert, from London, England. Terry, aka "The Great Fiasco", is a comedy magician but perhaps best known internationally as a children's show entertainer. He has a lot of advice to offer but he also has stories about many of the legendary English magicians he has known and worked with over the years. We also discuss the differences in venues between the U.K. and the U.S. for performing close-up shows. Terry also talks about "The Piddingtons" whom he has been researching for many years. The Piddingtons were a two-person mind-reading duo originally from Australia who made a career performing on stage and on the radio in the mid 20th century.

You can watch a video clip of Terry performing at The Magic Circle, and you can view an archived performance of "The Piddingtons", see some other photos, read the blog, listen to the podcast online, and download the MP3 file at:

Thank you to Joshua Stenkamp and Jason Wethington, authors of "A Magician Prepares - Act One: Interviews", who donated three copies of their book as prizes for last week's contest. Congratulations to the winners: Peter Cook, Jon Barr and Fred King.
