You could do a pretty fun Kangaroo Coins/Sympathetic Silks (or even coins!) with these things, too.
Swap twice, (normal -> secret -> normal) and even end up with the spectator dumping out the original coins as the final reveal. The possibilities really are endless - I understand why people are getting so many of these at once. I'm tempted to get more, but it sure does add up! |

Very happy that my Quiver (and backup) arrived today. It's a great little device. Easy to handle if you know the workings, and devious as heck. I'm already working on a number of ideas, including an intimate kurotsuke sort of thing. I love this!

Great review Kaan as always . What’s your opinion of letting the spectators open the wallet ? Do you think they can accidently open the wrong side or do you hand it to them so the gimmick part is next to their thumb ? Or do you always open it yourself ? Best wishes Tarik 🙂

As long there are no too noticeable things inside, there is no problem handing it out Also no fears at all of having them activate the gimmick

Glitch Studio team asked that if I really like the product to post about it here. I have two and I am getting a few more. I like it for what it does not do. Draw attention to itself. Although there are some pretty nice effects that can be done with it. My use for them in my routines will be just the opposite. I don't plan on having objects vanish or change openly, or using it to do anything magical at all. What I like about the Quiver coin purse is how much more magic you can make elsewhere while using it as a utility that appears to be doing nothing more than the obvious.
And its diverse, for example using it in a stubborn coin effect where all four coins are added to the purse, but the coin keeps coming back to the table, and so the purse stays empty. No doubt the hand is quicker than the eye and the purse is really empty, and at the climax when the coins vanish from the table. Magically they are removed from the purse and you go into the next 4 coin routine using a different gaff, leaving the previously used gaff in the ether. By the time you've gotten to this point (if handled correctly), the purse is completely ruled out as being a contributing factor in the routine. I like it because it is unassuming and can be easily dismissed in the mind of the audience. |

To everyone who pre-ordered Quiver from ellusionist. First of all, thank you guys so much for the support!
I know some of you have not received Quiver yet and it's because we are having a production problem in the factory. To ensure the quality of the product, we have to quality check the purse one by one ourselves. We are doing out best, but it will take some time as we have very limited staff in glitch studio. We sincerely apologize for for the delayed delivery. We should be able to send out the goods in the coming weeks. We hope the quality will make you think it's worth the wait. Once again, I apologize to everyone who are still waiting to receive their Quiver. We will do our best to give you the best quality product and get them delivered asap. Best Regards, Kelvin chow |

A great combination is using Quiver in conjunction with Steve Dela's "Will To Read". Those who own Dela's effect will understand.

I just received mine and "Quiver" isn't stamped on the leather like I read other posts. VDR isn't stamped on the leather either. What is stamped on the leather looks like a backwards "E" and a "Y" but I'm not too sure. Was wondering what this is.

It’s perfect now as I favour the tab the wrong way so it’s 100% sure fire and obviously I know what I need to do . A brilliant utility device hats off to Kelvin , Tarik 🙂

We'll have 57 of these in stock and available on Monday next week from http://www.ellusionist.com
The others have sold out before they've even arrived into our warehouse..... this thing is literally insane. Another 1,000 on the way asap though. We'll keep you all posted. - G |

I bought 2 of these and because of they were separate purchases, one of them came over a month before I received the 2nd one, therefore I didn't discover this issue until now. So I have 2 Quivers, each now functioning a different way. One of them opens on whatever side you have it set to; IE: whatever compartment you opened last - hidden or normal. So if I have a nine of clubs in the hidden compartment, but I open and then close the purse (activating the tab) - then it will open normally (for the spectator) to the nine of clubs. The other Quiver functions as it is supposed to, I believe. That is to say, that it always opens to the same / normal side for the spectator. It's a bit of a conundrum, because really, the way I intend to use this in a two purse routine, (see my other post regarding my routine in this thread) I can still make it work.
...forever curious

I always have the tab favoured the wrong way so opens on the ungimmicked side and I can easily flick the tab as I open the gimmicked side and at the same time returning the the tab so it will only open on the ungimmicked side again for the spectator . I find this the safest ploy no matter how well they function it takes any small risk out of it . Best wishes Tarik 🙂
