The device I own has multipke compartments.
The opening of the each compartment is controled by squeezing the top . This is made of a stiff cloth. I have owned this for several years. It is not my invention. Please tell me how these devices are completely different.I have not handled Quiver Have you handled the device I have described? |

Thanks for the clarification.
I explained in another thread (the C-Purse) how this kind of purse opens. It has two compartments which are indistinguishable. Depending on how you squeeze it, one compartment or the other will open. It's difficult to explain but let's say, you press with the thumb and index finger, the "main" (first) compartment will open, but if you add the middle finger, you can open the "secret" (second) compartment. |

Just received the Quiver purse. Delivery from Hong Kong to California took about 10 days.
It is very well made and works beautifully. Made from very nice leather, with reasonable care I anticipate it should last a good long time. This is a utility device that probably every magician can use. The fact that the spec can open it themselves is HUGE plus, LOVE that. For the price it is a steal. I am going to buy a couple more as I've already come up with more uses for this, and I also have some ideas for a purse monte routine. Very highly recommended! FYI - Not associated with Kelvin or anyone connected to this product. |

I've seen it in action , and tried opening it up like what a spectator would do , its safe to say that the secret is really well hidden and works like a charm . Ordered it and should be receiving next week .

Received mine today. I think it's great. I LOVED Rich H's (RIP) MentalCraft velvet pouches (and pendulums - see my avatar), however I would never let a guest handle/open one. Guests can load their item in the Quiver and retrieve it themselves. Really nice switch. This is kinda like a Rogers auto 2-way envelope without the arts and crafts. It's great for billets, bills...anything thin. Not overly "proppy" either - easily justified. Just take your bill(s), billet, card, wahatever out of it, have guest put their item in and hand it to her to hold. Switch done. Pretty cool.

I have had mine for several days. If it is something you have been considering - go for it. It works a treat and is very very deceptive.

8 days from Hong Kong to Canada. Pretty amazing taking into account the usual Canada Post delays and slow service.

My Quiver was waiting for me when I came home from work today (only 9 days from ordering to arrival in UK).
I'm absolutely delighted with it !! I have no negative comments about either Quiver or the video instructions and here are just some of the many positives: 1) Very high quality of manufacture - feels and smells just like a high quality leather coin purse should (if you were given this is a gift of a standard coin purse you would be happy) 2) Very deceptive mechanism (if you accidentally gave this away, the recipient may never notice anything unusual) 3) Excellent instruction - high quality video, presenter (presumably Kelvin) with shirt mounted microphone for clear audio. He speaks and demonstrates clearly and professionally (and with a touch of humour). 4) Stacks of ideas presented in the 30 minute video (from coins to cards to billets to small objects ...). 5) Quiver can be used as change bag, force bag, 'mystery box', bank nite, switcher etc etc (the only danger is you will be tempted to use it for everything) 6) It may well be the best magic 'prop' I have ever bought (and I have spent far more than would be good for my wife to know!) In an age of one trick DVDs that come with (e.g.) a few metres of standard elastic thread (as the special gimmick) this represents great value for money. It is satisfying to buy a prop that you don't think 'I could have made this for a few quid or less' when you get it. No 'jiffy bag rage' here. As mentioned, the temptation will be to over use this (it is just so good) - but with restrained, innocuous usage this will help deliver killer effects. It is a cliche to say it is almost too good to review - because I don't want everyone else using this - but that is certainly how I feel about Quiver. A bit of practice will be needed to ensure smooth, consistent opening of the second compartment but that is simply a function of how deceptive and well made the item is. Well done on an excellent magic product!! |

My order came very quickly too I was very impressed, however as I have a birthday coming up I've had to put it up as a present off my kids so I can't have access to it until next week which is killing me after reading the positive reviews
