. . . so if you don't like it, it's not my fault.

Q. How do you get a Canadian to say, "I'm sorry"?

A. Step on his foot.

Hah! One of my favorites is the cows and chickens in a field riddle. If you aren't familiar, here is a link:

I had so much fun with this one and my girlfriend.

If a riddle has an answer then why is it a riddle?
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

I personally agree it is not the best term for this type of joke, but

word meanings are a changing, tommy. Soon all communication will be a riddle.

why was the word "meme" destroyed from its original meaning and there is now no word to express that concept?

why is "magic" the equivalent to "special" in marketing?

why does "fact" now imply an option?

the answer is "blowing in the wind."

A riddle ought to propounded by the riddler for solving by the reader or Batman.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Yeah, that's a pet peeve of mine, too. That was a very useful word, expressing a powerful concept that people don't reference much anymore.

Guess they forgot to tell Bill Buckley.

Well, it's like a raven and a writing desk.
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.--Yeats

The raven must have ****ed. Those pens were very pointy.

That wasn't an original answer, but it's my favorite. My solution was "They both have quills."
