You extract a small clasp purse from your pocket, remove a coin and return the purse. Perform your desired single coin effect -- or several, ending with the coin in a spectator's hand
At the end you remove the purse in left hand and open it. Retrieve the coin and visibly drop it inside. Right hand is completely empty. Left hand never comes near the body. Close purse and hand to spectator. The purses is found to be only a photo of a purse on the back of a business card that the spectator keeps. Your hands are clean. Everyone swears they saw the coin going into the open purse and the flash of the coin inside - but no fumbling or sleights before handing out the card. Clean means clean! Alternately, you can extract several coins that vanish, leaving only one to return to the purse. I will be trying this - a combination of sleights and psychological ploys leading to an unexpected ending and memorable hand out. Maybe others have some ideas to combine with this approach.

I like the basic premise. Please post an image of the card.
Thanks, JonT

Eric Jones does the opposite. He opens a pamphlet, shows a picture of a purse, takes the purse off of the pamphlet becoming real, and takes coins out. Its not his, but it looks great.

Yes, such a production might be interesting but never combined with my idea. I was inspired (sic) by the psychological ploys involved.
Also, the expectations of the audience is completely different, and therefor the astonishment. Yet, I am glad for this reference as it illustrates the power of a transformation from a 'two dimensional" object to a "third dimensional" one -- or the other way. I am musing on how the success of a magic effect requires the observer to delve into a higher-dimension of imagination over our mundane world. many people now view the real word in enhanced two-dimension TV and Computer screen rather than personal observation in 3 dimensions. Perhaps effects like these can focus audience attention in a way not possible decades ago. There have been magic effects for many years on the theme of bringing something "flat" to life such a Egg Fan. Here I go the other direction with the ability to gift something to a spectator. Maybe I am overvaluing the power of that.
