Recently I stumble upon private ecommerce sites, which are selling digital magic stuff like ebooks (scanned books), original pdf-files and of course videos all in the price range of 1-2$. I doubt that they have offical permission to deal with those digital goods. I am not talking about the already well discussed 52magic.com.
My question is, what can we do to stop them or whom I have to inform to take proper legal steps against them?

The owners of the copyright have to report them/send a cease and desist.

Thanks for the info. It looks like I should inform every single creator, who is affected by those sites.

I don't think this would come as a surprise to your average creator of magic tricks/books/video. However, so many of them are on "foreign soil" that there is little the average creator can do.

Piracy is a calculated expense, yes. But we do what we can.

Unfortunately there will always be pirated material in every form not just within the magic industry but with everything. where someone can make a quick buck they will do no matter the ethics. its sad but true, especially for creators.

It took that long? Usually they move much faster than that.
