So you've produced the 4 aces now what do you do with them ?

Typically for me I follow it up with Dr Daleys

Jazz Aces, then a variation on Follow The Leader. Then I have the Aces back for another couple of tricks.

Twisting the aces, or any variation, like Back to Aces by Steve Beam.
So much to do, so little time . . .

I meant to say "Take Me To Your Leader" from Harry Lorayne.

Rick, did you used to produce your Aces by doing Aces Wild? If so --- that used to be my set!

Lately I have been doing Collins Aces or (if my hands are dry and I am using a borrowed deck of dubious integrity) I will do Charlie Nagel's "Traveling Aces."

Twisting the Aces, Dr. Daley's Last Trick, lose the Aces again, then Spectator Cuts to the Aces, then change the Aces into 4 Kings.

There's also a great Al Leech routine where the red Aces change places with the black Aces multiple times.

And David Regal has one where a freely selected card transports from in-bwteen the red Aces to in-between the black Aces.

I prefer "Ace Man Cometh" as a production

Thanks for everyones input there are even a couple of things that I haven't come across before Smile

A couple of questions Joe with regards to Collins Aces isn't that kind of like performing the same trick twice ie finding the aces twice or does the fact that one is cutting to the aces and one spelling to the aces make it different enough to keep it entertaining ?

Don't take my comment as a negative though Joe I'm just genuinely interested in how it plays.

Arthur I was also considering following it up with having the spectators cut to the aces after making a big thing about how difficult it is to cut to the aces.

Rick Jazz Aces is a lovely effect but it doesn't really build ie you basically do the same thing 4 times in a row but having said that it is of cause all down to finding the right presentation which I obviously haven't yet.

There's a nice version out there with an O'Henry kicker. Unfortunately you can find it on Youtube.

There's no way to count all the four-ace effects/routines I've published. I've been known to do three hours of only four-ace effects/routines at one "sitting" with a borrowed deck./

You gotta' start reading the good stuff, Guys!!

As usual HL is on the money. There's so much good stuff published with four Aces, here's some of the best:

Henry Christ's Fabulous Four Ace Trick - Professional Card Magic (Cliff Green)
The Conus Aces - Ultra Cervon (Bruce Cervon)
The Signed Card - Secrets of Brother John Hamman (Richard Kaufman)
Twisting the Aces - More Inner Secrets of Card Magic (Lewis Ganson)
Jennings Revelation - Classic Magic of Larry Jennings (Mike Maxwell)

I started to list some of the 4-ace effects/routines I've published - when I got to about 100 I got too tired to continue!

I would say, celebrate - but seriously, I recommend "Weighted Aces" by Gregory Wilson. It is in his Gregory Wilson In Action video, Vol.1 - it is the Doc Daley's Last Card Trick, but with a little preface trick just before it that is really great to go along with that trick.

I've performed weighted aces for years it's a great effect however recently I've switched back to a standard Dr Daley's as it allows for a better presentation for me at least

I had a look at Rock n Roll Aces and I couldn't see the difference between that and Jazz Aces unless I'm missing something ?

Someone had a ground breaking idea: change one of the e.counts to something else. A truly original contribution.

The 80s were different times.
