Hi to all,

Last friday was released the new material from Miguel Ángel Gea called "Percepción en forma de moneda" (or Perception in coin's shape). Huge work on his research about magic and human percepcion, where each of the subjects he points out is companied with coin trick examples and afterthoughts.
Whitout any doubt this is interesting to all, if you're or not a coin fan, you could find a lot of interesting concepts concerning magic performance.
You could get it from
www.tarancoproducciones.com
and it's available in spanish and english, for download or DVD

Cheers!

Got the download and burned to DVD...watched half of it and I have to say I'm very impressed so far. A lot of good concepts explained. I can't believe more people are not talking about this. Some of the effects fooled me and use more subtlety than knuckle busting sleight of hand. Not to say the stuff is really easy and you will be using it straight away but a lot ideas to digest and employ.

Yeah! Spanish school of thinking, but to be more specific, is the constructivism

I ‘m agree this dvd have really good effects. Some effecten are unbelieveble. In the dvd Miguel speaks English and Spanish.
The effects is done and explained in English. Clear and fine!
The theory, really wonderfull is in Spanish. I can’t understand spanish, So there is subtitle for that part. I ‘m unfortunally have to say that the subtitles is so terrible to read (English is not my first language), you cann’t. The letters is not clear and also the letters are not close by in words. So I really can’t understand his explanation of theory. I wish I could Because what hč does explain, looks like to me very important.
In my opinion he made a bad choice in subtitles. This could be an better product and by making better subtitles a holy grail for coinworkers.

Mago Jose can you explain what you mean by your remark that "it's the constructivism"? I'm very interested.

Sorry to bring up an old thread! Can anyone else comment on the quality of the subtitles during the Spanish portions? I don't speak Spanish, but I am a native English speaker, so will the subtitles be clear? I know Jac said he had an issue with them as a non-native English speaker, so I am curious about that. It's curious that there aren't more reviews or more details available about the contents of the DVD!

A good one, MindExplosion.
I ‘m really surprised nobody complained aboutthe subtitles.
I have no complain about the magic. The magic is great.

Mind Explosion.

If you are a native English speaker I don't think you would struggle too much with the subtitles from memory. Some translations may be a bit off but you will get the general gist. If you are familiar with his other material you will also find the theory easier to follow. I can double check if you like and let you know for definite? I was thinking of revisiting this DVD this weekend anyway

Thank you Danny. I did purchase it, and I agree. The subtitles are not great, some of the translations aren't complete and sometimes the wrong words are used. Not a problem for a native English speaker. But I can definitely see where someone who isn't a native English speaker would struggle.

Subtitles aside, the material is great!
