I recently purchased Cube3 by Steven Brundage and have been leaning his algorithms (not looking to reopen discussion on the provenance of these moves) successfully since. However in the last few days I've gotten stuck in a place I've not had a problem before and cannot seem to find a way out of the block I'm in. Specifically I'm trying to solve for what he calls Step 6 "Corner Orientation" which is supposed to give you a solid yellow facade built up one corner piece at a time. However I keep arriving at a situation where I have 3 corner pieces solved and cannot solve the last one. The instructions that came with the cube presume that one will either have no squares solved, one square solved, or two squares - but never 3.
Has anyone else faced this issue? Can anybody help me figure out where to go from here? Thanks! |

Which video are you working on -- the effects or the solution?
It would be helpful if you could indicate the specific time in the video when he's addressing what you are having trouble with. Then I and other Cube3 users could identify the exact problem you're having. |
