Received mine yesterday, the label was postmarked Nov 8th so it either took a little while to get here or wasn't mailed right away. Regardless, the box was small but the packaging was excellent. The gimmick comes in a box that is uniquely designed, interesting and well put together. I would recommend opening it with care so as not to spoil any instructions, which will be clear when you receive this.
Without having installed or tried this yet, I will say that I am pleased with gimmick and with the effect it produces. The gimmick appears well made and purpose built to do exactly what the effect requires it to do. You will be able to add the required coins to the existing change already in your pocket to produce any amount of change from 50 cents up to $1.00 with no fumbling, little delay and at most two "moves". The "moves" required need quotes because compared to exact changes moves, these moves are smaller, easier to make and, with practice, can be made as part of the movement of the hand going into the pocket. Some practice will be needed to make this look smooth but it shouldn't take too long to get the effect down. The setup is minimal. Find the spot that works and mark it on your pocket. You will likely need 30 seconds to place the safety pin while you put your pants on if you take the pin out each time. If you leave the pin in place, you just put the gimmick and change in your pocket and go. The effect is simple, so one can create whatever story or patter one wants around the effect. It is not difficult to get a spectator to give you some change amount over 50 cents and I believe the effect is likely better with a nice pocket full of change anyways. I look forward to installing this and practicing with it. So far, I'm very pleased.
The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance; it is the illusion of knowledge.

With exact change the spectator can pick any number between 1 to 99 right ?
Can you have two gimmicks one on each pocket. One for numbers over 50 and one for below 50 ? |

I had some thoughts - like if they gave a low number I would ask for another one and add them together... but Cosmo makes it not just easy - but effortless... it is as simple as asking for 1 - 100 ... but you will always get a number 50+... it also feels 'bigger' than saying - pick a number 50 - 100... It's these bits that show this has been worked and isn't some idea that the creater came up with 30 seconds before he released it Finally you could buy a second gimmick still... I feel I might - as if I'm going to use this - it's good to have a back up |

Most of the packages had the postage printed on the 8th but they weren't all put in the mail that day, as I stated they went out over the course of the next three days, but one of those days was also a holiday. A large number of packages were taken on Veterans day, and the post office was completely locked up so they didn't go out until Monday. I even shipped some from Vegas while I was there as the orders came in.
On the site, I clearly state to allow up to 5 days for me to get them in the mail. That's been there from the beginning. I see a few people getting antsy, and I take that as a compliment, but I'm hoping someone would appreciate that instead of mailing out mid December I'm doing everything I can to make these and get them out asap. As of this weekend, since we've been making these gimmicks non-stop for the past week, we should be shipping out orders within 1 day of receiving them! Thanks! |

I want so badly to show you the "method" for getting ANY number 1-100, but I would be showing you how to do something I would NEVER advise, or advocate. Can you? OF COURSE! But (as I said in a FB video on the private group) you wouldn't be doing my trick, you'd be doing your own, with my gimmick. You can use my gimmick to do whatever you want, you can brush your teeth with it if you want, but again, you wouldn't be doing anything it was designed for. Perfect Centsâ„¢ is NOT just the gimmick, it's the whole routine and handling. If you're bound and determined... I'll give you a hint, you don't need two gimmicks. one gimmick, but use both pockets. That's a very clean way to do it and it is performed with as much ease and "quickness" as the original handling. I won't teach the full handling as I think it would be a disservice and a big waste of both of our time! Best! |

There is no need to have any concern whatsoever about the number needing to be higher than 50. Cosmo has a brilliant method for achieving this easily and naturally.
But it's important to keep in mind that the idea of having a higher number selected did not come about because the method requires it (as is typically the case), it came about because the trick is 10 times stronger that way. And it's not stronger simply because having a larger number of coins adds an extra layer of mystery, more importantly it adds anticipation and suspense. Because when you dump a pile of change consisting of 12 or more coins (including several pennies) into a spectators hand for them to count, they can't visually determine the exact amount until they actually count it coin by coin. This adds tremendously to the strength and impact of the effect and makes it much more memorable and seemingly impossible. As an added bonus, the supplied gimmick makes this the easiest version of this effect that I am aware of, with no stalling or noise issues. Not that it won't take proper practice and rehearsal, it certainly will. But overall I think most will find it easier and more straightforward than similar products of this type. |

I absolutely detest- no DESPISE FarceBook! I won't go into why. But...I do like this idea. The man is brilliant! I had issues in the past over communication. There are quite a few Cosmo effects I want. I certainly hope I don't have to go to FB!

Ok well I happy with the original handlings and any bonuses and to be fair I will normally know someone on it who will give me the additions if I have bought the effect but maybe a Facebook account purely like yours Duster will be a compromise . Best magic to all Tarik 🙂

Not a big fan of FB either. But it's a fact of life so I have an account just to be able to join various magic groups. It's not a big deal and if you have an account here on the Café then there really isn't much difference. Easy to join and lots of good info shared on there. You get some different people and perspectives than you will find here. I have gotten many great ideas from FB I never would have come up with on my own. I think you will find it is worth it.

Its not a part of what you get, it's not something offered, just something extra. Those of you who hate facebook, I totally get it! I only use it for what I can find or make good of it, and I ignore a TON of things on there. I will say this, for some reason, the Café brings a lot more "trolls" and I'm not sure why, but occasionally, someone will ask a question TO THE GROUP that they should just be asking to the creator... Or they'll complain here on the Café, without EVER trying to contact the person they're complaining about first. I think its the residue left over from what the Café' USED TO BE. I swore I'd never get on here again, and haven't been back in YEARS. But I've been VERY pleased to see that the number of people who act like complete jerks on here has diminished and ALMOST TOTALLY gone away! I'm hoping to revamp my interest in the Café, and thanks to most all of the posts/replies here, I think I just might hang around! I realize that I may have just offended someone on here, but since pretty much everyone on this thread has been cordial and respectful, if it does offend you then you're just admitting that you're guilty of it. The days of trolling the internet and just looking for a fight from the basement of your mom's house are over! Yay! (and what a pleasant surprise and relief to see that the moderators are removing childish and antagonizing comments! that never used to happen!) So there will be NOTHING on the facebook group that isn't posted on the website for Perfect Cents owners. Its just an optional extension... the good thing about it is that it's really easy to do live discussions on there, or throw a quick video on there for discussion, sometimes a thought pops into my head and I try to just share it to discuss. It might not be something that needs to be posted among the how to videos on the website. Also, since the Café discussions are open to all members, the discussions herein, can't really get into methods etc, but on the FB group, people who are on there are qualified as owners FIRST so its a completely OPEN environment allowing for detailed ideas and talk about the use of the gimmick, routines, presentation etc. hope that made "cents"!
