I just watched the Giobbi lecture #2 from Penguin. He uses the bank teller stuff....SortKwk. Avoids the whole palm soaking wet thing.

Since I started this....I acknowledge I am sort-of changing the subject.

Moisturizer and card handling are two different things. I have OctoPalm. Not a fan.

I will try SortKwk.

Thanks ! I'll give SortKwk a try too!

I ordered some from a 3rd party, JA Wholesale LLC, by way of the big online discounter. it was 3.13 free shipping. Just search for it there.

Walmart carries the larger one in a single pack or a 3 pack of the smaller containers (way easier to carry around) plus they are inexpensive. https://www.walmart.com/search/?query=sortkwik&cat_id=0

Jason England turned me on to his favorite product for this purpose, and now it's my favorite too. It's up to him if he wants to tip it.

I think I’ve tried every single suggestion on this thread and then some, for me personally I’ve found that Aveeno lotion first then a little papercreme on the fingertips leaves my hands perfect for card work.

Giobbi said this is almost a religion as to what people use. BTW, Staples also has SortKwik.

Paper Creme
O'Keefes working hands
Neutrogena Norwegian formula

Jason has recommended these in different places. Being worried about tipping hand cream is absurd.

I recently stumbled on this from John Carney but haven’t tried it: https://carneymagic.com/2453-2/

Has anyone else tried liquid chalk? I currently use Zim’s Crack Creme but it starts a bit too tacky and sometimes doesn’t last as long as I want.

My teacher has a formula for hand cream/lotion that J.C. Wagner loved and bought from him before he passed.

I can't tip though lol
