Not as good as seeing them in person, but for anyone that wants to see them together to compare what the pictures look like:

If money was no object I would have probably ordered the Limited edition ($500). But the standard one ($250) has an innocent look that to me is fine for this kind of effect... Can I tell my wife that I just saved $250?

Ordered the standard version as well. Will line it with velvet and possibly re-stain. Need to see it in person first.

I received yesterday the limited edition and stained the wood myself at my workshop today.
Darker is my preference for a seance performance. Very well constructed and happy with my purchase. The workings are the same than Anverdi’s but the triggering activation is not “exactly” the same. The small chain can snag if you activate the box half open, so be careful. There is a way to easily undo the snag and this is not explained in the video download so if that happens to you just play a bit with the little small round thing included and place it in the “hot spot” several times to undo the snag automatically without breaking anything. I ordered the cheap one, I think it just looks more innocent.

Yes, my fault.
I wrote the incorrect one. Mine is the standard version. I stained it to make it darker

That box looks so much better than the original one supplied. I’m getting this and staining it myself
