The greatest trick Scott ever pulled was making the hair on his head reappear!
Soon to be released as a Bob Kohler Pro Line product with a hefty price tag, although I think I'll save my money and buy one of the cheaper Chinese Knockoff's. |

I have never missed one of these yearly "lectures/shows and am always amazed by the amount of work and thought that goes into each of these productions. The addition of Bizzaro and Puck was even more fun. There are always 2-3 "secrets" that are worth the price of admission (free if you pre-registered) that you really can use in a stand up show. Jokes and clever dialogue aside, in the last 5 years I have learned a ton of magic from these shows and always return to them when I want to brush up on something that I learned, I am so appreciative to all involved in this yearly event and especially to Scott, Dan and the entire Penguin staff. By the way, Bizzaro's ring in bubble wrap trick was one of those tricks that are worth the price of admission alone.

Another GREAT holiday Penguin lecture and show from Scott and Dan! With Puck and Bizzaro as a bonus.
The magic was solid. I'm surprised nobody mentioned Dan's excellent ACAAN!!! Easy and a great version to perform. |

Yes, much work went into the lecture and many effects shared. Thanks for your time and efforts.
I'll say it and I don't care what others say,I was appaled and saddened of the disrespect to the Menorah. Simulating urinating on this significant biblical symbol was disgraceful. Sure, for those that don't have any religious convictions or respect for the Bible, no big deal,so what. But for those of us who do it was sickening. Urinating, setting the Menorah on fire and laughing about it Was beyond the pale. Why some think that gutter humor is attactive especially during this special time of year, well, that's your business. But it doesn't mean that others are not able to voice their opinions even if it disagees with yours. Sad for some, what's the big deal for others.
Guilt will betray you before technique betrays you!

Speaking as someone who has known Bizzaro for a long time I can tell you that the fire from zipper has never been considered as "urinating". The zipper is just a funny place to shoot fire from. If you want to find offense in it and see that visual that's up to you obviously. Just figured I would help clear that up.

Oh for gods sake cry me a river. People nowadays get so offended at EVERYTHING. If you know anything about the past Penguin holiday lectures you know what kind of night you were in for hahaha. It’s all in good fun. I’m sure some of the “offensive” jokes weren’t meant to upset anyone.

The great trouble with magicians is the fact that they believe when they have bought a certain trick or piece of apparatus, and know the method or procedure, that they are full-fledged mystifiers. -- Harry Houdini

Totally entertaining yet again. The nice thing about being in Australia is that I get to watch this as a xmas day present at the end of the day. It's so enjoyable to watch some adult focused humour instead of the kid stuff. The satire is hilarious, especially as I don't have any friends who I can share the in jokes with.
I can't wait to add the weak and strong effect to my show, so many possibilities for comedy. Thanks to everyone involved for putting the time and effort in, I hope there's many more. |

I think this year was my second favorite so far (after the third lecture he did, which is my all time favorite) of course I LOVED all of them, It’s the Highlight of the year for me and I’m not even celebrating Christmas..
The highlights of this year’s lecture for me were first of all Bizzaro! I just love this guy! And the second was The Magic Crab song, man I laughed so hard... Did anyone find an online source for buying the right coasters for Dan’s Snake trick? I looked everywhere on the internet and couldn’t find them.. would love to make it..
