Hello, Ben!
Although your preferences are bound to change from time to time, what is your favorite card effect and your favorite non-card effect? I'm thinking of a trick for a context where you will only do the one effect. Bye for now Harold

Hi Harold,
If I need to do just one effect, it is always COSMOSIS. I have a ten minute routine that is my main thing. If it's going to be cards, then it is whatever my latest handling is for CLICK CLICK CLICK (the card printing routine based around the "Fandango" move. Cheers mate Ben Harris

Sounds like 'Click Click Click' has stood the test of time. Am I correct in thinking that routine was published nearly 15 years ago.
It's one of those tricks I've played with constantly for a couple of years, and always get a great reaction from it. Cheers, Sean.

Hi Sean!
Hi Tomas! Yes, Click Click Click has stood the test of time for me. From memory, the most recently published handling would have been in Mad Fax. And, that would be about 15 years ago. The latest handling allows the "photo cards" to be of a different back design to the balance of the deck. This means they could actually be custom printed backs saying "Magic Printing Cards" or whatever. The signatures on the freely selected signed cards from the deck still appear on the "photo cards." It never made any sense that the photo cards have regular back designs. So that has now been solved. The new handling is ear-marked for my video/Dvd. Cheers BH

Ben,
Its great to know your personal favorites.... For me I love ZOOM. What a great concept. Sheer genious. I happen to think the best thing you have done is your Silver Dust Coin Production. Utterly mind numbing added to a coin routine or used simply as a production. Thats my two cents. Thanks for your contribution to this wonderful art!!!!! |
