Why would bad mentalism/magicians - not affect us whatsoever [?]
There is a lot of poor logic in this thread On topic - I'm sure this is a great effect as it's from Saturn Magic |

Our opinions affect other magicians thinking at times and it’s all about magicians helping magicians and everyone is entitled to say and try and help if a routine looks completely flawed . We all benefit from each other’s help and advise sometimes and you really don’t have to be Einstein to see the combination of these two effects is a bad uneccessary move that weakens the overall process considerably . Out of the Blue is a good effect on its own merits so back on topic , great magic to all Tarik 🙂

No, I don't. But I don't perform professionally, so what do I know?

Any poor performance that tips the method professionally or otherwise is not good for the art imo , that can at least be given the chance to be prevented by explaining if someone is fundamentally doing an effect completely wrong and illogical . The Duster is bang on , DFB is the force , numbers 1/100 very fair and free why would you basically let them throw a dice and limit them to just 1 in 6 an then let that number be used for DFB . If you aren’t keen on apps ( I am not a fan but own a few ) then Out Of The Blue is a great non app way 🙂 . Combining the two though really doesn’t add up regards Tarik 🙂

This looks like a worthwhile utility item that has MANY applications limited by my imagination. Going to buy it !

This method and handling is 100% based on the original creations of George Sands and Shiego Futagawa.
Are they loudly credited in the instructions? Plus, here is another version of the same effect and method from decades ago : http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......412813#6 |

It’s in about 5 books and the version where all the cards are placed in unmarked envelopes and totally mixed is my favourite . In this envelope version you can bring your reveal into play before the spectator even open the envelopes to do the sum which matches your reveal perfectly . Best wishes Tarik 🙂 |

Credits are given on the tutorial page.
This is based on a very old principal, I suspect it must pre dated 1956, that is the oldest reference we have so far. The special cards and built in feature make this different and very easy to do with no memory work required.

Hmmm ... On the fence here !! the fact that it's 'versatile' allowing the principle/concept to be employed elsewhere makes my 'finger hover' but Post-Blackpool has left me feeling financially tender. There is only one cure in that situation but am I strong enough ???

My review will follow too, but only once I've performed it a few times - my next gig is a wedding tomorrow, so let's see how it plays. I'm use it around the tables so I can involve as many people as possible in the routine. As previously mentioned, I will be putting the cards into envelopes (thanks Tarik Flash) as I think this adds an extra layer of mystery to the effect and allows the prediction to be made even before the cards are revealed. Nice!
