Any one know if there are any free magic magazines out? (Or just any magazines at all.)
your magic is only real when you believe it's real.

I think one of the best free sources for magic news, besides this forum and Genii's forum, is Magictimes.com.

Not free, but Magic Magazine and Genii are two of the better ones.
When you join either the IBM or the SAM you get their magazines free (you pay dues). IBM is The Linking Ring and SAM is M.U.M.

If 'free' is important, I don't know what to reccommend. Otherwise, 'Precursor' would be an interesting one for advanced cardicians. I don't reccommend it to beginners.

Like the Magic Times, there are some good sites. The three I use the most are allmagicguide, Magic Week and Ultimate Magic Network, but I have to agree with jcards01, Magic magazine and Genii are good. Like the old saying you get what you pay for.

Abracadabra which is published in England is a tiny magazine which costs 50p ($1) and comes out each week.
There are several other posts about magazines you might like to search. If you buy some of the old magazines on CD Rom (Ibidem, Phoenix, Jinx, Stanyon's Magic, etc.), you will save a lot of money, yet they are not all that cheap. But they contain loads of great magic from the earlier part of the century. Owen |

I like MAGIC magazine more than others, but I also get Genii and the Penumbra, both of which are great as well.

Owen.daniel,
I've not heard of Abracadabra. Where do you normally get it from? |
