I gotta ask the one question not seen in this thread. Been bit before
Just how much trouble is it to make the gimmick??? Don’t need a science project that I have to learn one phase at a time a la learning how to split cards in layers- though I did get pretty good at it Mark |

Hi All,
I really love the look of this but am so concerned about baing able to make up the required **M*** whilst awaiting the item to arrive in the UK and whether its a variation on one of the things that's not used like when something says No T@@@@DS and its a feckin @oo@ as it was with a release by Matt Mello - Sorry Matt but you probably know which effect this is. I would like to make one up whilst waiting for it to arrive from Ellusionist. Also was this used by Dynamo in a episode of Magician Impossible? Kind Regards Dr Rob |

The gimmick for this is probably the easiest gimmick you'll ever make for the effect that it generates. Zero skills required.

I found this product to be overpriced. I normally love Patrick Redford's thinking and him, but this is a lot for an old idea with his spin. Obviously just my opinion.

Has anyone had issues with spectators figuring out the method or being able to pull the cards out of the box during phases 2 or 3?

I just got it. I think it's a very good idea. I liked how Patrick combined methods plus updated them. He gives you lots of subtleties. I also like that he give you a history of how this particular item came to be.

GeraintClarke I am referring to Malta i.e. within the EU. This is a light item, so to pay as much postage as the item costs is not worthwhile.

Realistically this should have been a download. I agree that the shipping costs make it not worth purchasing for most people. I only bought it because it was the final piece to a presentation I have been developing about the power of imagination.
I have not had a problem with anyone figuring it out as I have used females so far and they are always more than willing to comply using the premise that I offer. |

I found this trick to be impractical. If I am carrying around a gaff deck, then I need to be able to do more than one trick with the pack of cards. I also thought it was over priced. Should have be $10 tops.

My personal opinion of the product is it's great. Of the two main effects, I will only likely use one of them. It's not that the gimmick is cumbersome or difficult to make (it's pretty simple) I just don't see myself using it. However, I have performed the effect in which the participant cannot remove the cards from the pack several times, and I love it.

I've actually had Redford perform this on me and it is frustratingly good. 15/10. Would recommend.
