IMO this procedure is absolutely open to errors in the real world. If you leave the phone with the participant because you “don’t need to touch the phone again” as written above, you are absolutely open to being called out. In fact the participant’s interaction with the phone needs to be controlled to a degree that I consider higher than most other phone routines.

You never let the participant keep your phone in his or her hands (actually you can, but is not neccesary). What Pablo refers is when you finish the simple procedure you don't need to do something else. Everything is controlled in any sense, therefore extremely secure. |

Agreed, you absolutely do not need to give up control over your phone with this routine. I do not agree that a large amount of audience control is necessary for this routine.
The participant is the one creating the number, but you can still hold on to the sides of the phone and immediately turn the phone over to reveal the chosen number. |

This is very simple, but it does get the job done.
There are many versions included so you can force various items. I like the variety. It is simple to perform and simple to set up. It’s not as advanced as some forcing methods, but it’s quite direct. Just know that all of the forces in this must be done with the phone facing down. In other words, the participant can’t watch what they are doing. All in all, for $12, it’s a simple and effective idea. I think it’s priced about right too. Madison |
