Larry,
I've seen your version and I really like it. Isn't it mainly for street people, though? JK |

That's an inside joke from John, and um, John, have I told you recently that you're evil (which is one of the many reasons that I admire you)?
My version is based on one of John's versions, so I have him to thank because mine wouldn't exist had I not learned his! Larry D. P.S. - Where's that exploding nickel I paid for? |

There is a mechanical thing like what is in the copenetro that is in an old book, it shoots a coin up and over for about a foot. With just a bit of misdirection... that could really amaze folks.
John (Kennedy), your coins to glass thing is really special to me. Great trick!

I'm a big fan of yours, too, Larry. I remember all the fun at the Brook Farm Inn and way before that, too.
JK Jonathan, Which version are you referring to? You don't have the new one (Flight Deck) do you? JK |

John, I got your coins to glass back in 78. Saw you in NYC when you introduced your card stab.
Can you make a flight deck that looks like a wallet? That seems a bit more natural to me. And people would be loathe to touch another person's wallet.

Speaking of Kennedy,
I use a 'Kennedy moment' (evolved from "Translocation") in my "3 Lumps" routine (coins to cup/mug from "Tricks of My Trade".) A coin is visibly thrown into the cup (as a gag) and then immediately revealed to be back in the hand (the coin has also 'vanished' from the cup.) This moment KILLS... thanks John! Highlight #2: My routine uses C.Palm, but eliminates the 'claw like grip' seen in many coins to glass handling. ------------- PS: Re/Flight Deck I LOVE the thought of using a wallet (in place of deck.) John, you should work on Jon's idea! |

I like the idea of a wallet because it's a perfect tie-in to a money effect, but at the same time I'd be afraid that spectators might think that a coin somehow slipped out of the wallet into the glass (coins slipping out of wallets is not uncommon). A wallet may be a more suspicious prop than a card box for that reason. Of course I could be wrong...it wouldn't be the first time.

David Neighbors also has an excellent 4 coin transpo where coins visually dissappear from under an inverted shot glass to your empty hand. KILLER STUFF
