I received the following PM from Ian McColl, 24 May 2018
Last heard from John 31 March 2018, he wrote this "First time on computer since accident.
A while ago on a Sunday night, while stopped for a red light, somebody texting
hit me from behind with enough force to break off the engine mounts in the top of
the van that I was driving. It was totaled, and the doctors say that my
tendons and cartilage in both shoulders are torn, and have kept me from doing much.
The doctors have also told me not to do much for about 4 more months."
