How many magicians out there have their own mancave?

I pretend to, but my wife calls it the garage.

When Cliff mentioned his garage, it reminded me of a YouTube video I saw of a lady who is obsessed with collecting Barbie dolls. Her house is crammed to overflowing with Barbie dolls which her husband amazingly tolerates. Not only that but even the garage (which Cliff mentioned) accommodates the Barbie collection. Both house and garage! Not a mancave but a womancave.

I think the technical term for a female version of a man cave is a She-Shed. My wife has suggested wanting one for her gardening equipment, and just a private "she only" place to relax in peace.
Collections are great and fun. I have a collection of novelty neckties (about 80 of them) I wear at work. Total room taken up? About 4 inches in my closet hang space. I have my collection of hand-carved wooden kazoos. Total space taken up? about 12 by 18 inches on a nice display board on top of my dresser. My magic... Well, that is my garage. Point being, if you collect something and it takes up too much space in your life, that is not a collection anymore, it is a museum. I love museums, but I don't want to live in one.

With a house full of teenage girls I'm just happy to find one of the bathrooms unoccupied...
I still recall the day I met Beaker from the Muppets. He said to me "Meep, meep, mee mee mee Meep!", and that has made all the difference.

And read my books, when I can remember where they are! And study my DVDs.

Cliff's euphemism of "she-shed" is a good example of political correctness. Just like those Housewives who like to be called domestic engineers. And if blind people are called visually challenged, and midgets are called vertically challenged, then obese people are to be called circumferentially challenged, right?

Agreed with Orville - though PC somehow misses the public condemnation. @magicdave56... what's a shared mancave? Mancaves seemed a generational thing like clubs were two generations ago.

"their own mancave? " -> there are shared ones?... oh yes, they were called clubs long ago and dens last generation.
PC - there used to be that joke about the politician who claimed his opponent's daughter was a well known thespian ... matriculating... (1950) but since then folks seem to be reading 1984 as it it were ISO style work instructions.

So it would have been simpler to write: yes. Workroom, den or mancave it's part of being domestic.
