I bought the Raven several years ago and used it maybe 2-3 times. I don't personally like it. I'll get shot down for saying this, but I prefer Revolution. Not just for the clean vanish, but also as a utility move to switch one item for another.

I purchased the reel raven last year and cant stop using it. There are as many uses as items you can s**m. I personally like the reel raven as opposed to the classic due to its even tension and sheer speed. Hope this helps.

I am actually just saying something as an opinion of mine. It was mentioned by one poster earlier not to use ellusionist.com. Even though I can barely stand them, I can say that since the origianal poster is sort of new to magic, I think they should start off with an ellusionist video if they want to do street magic. Other than buying one video, sort of stay away. If they have a product you like, ask about it here to see if it is worth it. And definatly stay away from expertmagic.com period.
About the raven- I don't use the sleeveless version often. I just use the original version. I do use the reel version. I also use revolution but the price is too high. You can buy it but the price is sort of high. |

I prefer the coin bite a.k.a. folding coins because the effect is simply direct and an audience can understand it. But before getting one, be sure to master coin magic and its sleights or you'll ending giving away the secret behind the trick.

I don't get why people bash "Revolution". Yeah, I agree the price is a little steep for one move, but once you have it mastered, you have a miracle in your hands. I know it looks obvious, but the spectators just don't pick up on this concept if you give enough time misdirection. That is the key. If you are disappointed in where the coin goes, then I must ask how is that any different than using a p**l? It is not really vanishing either way, and IMHO, the Raven is quite expensive for what it is and Revolution is cheaper and it uses NO gimmicks whatsoever. Everyone I perform this for is always floored. The coin is just g-o-n-e. No P**ls, no IT, no nothing. *poof*
