I've only watched once and then dabbled for an hour or so...
My only useful current thought is that the reading 'bit' should be more aligned to the reveal of the card right at the end...however, that can also be anti climactic because if your mini reading lands well, then the card reveal may feel a little flat... However, if you did this with people who are into tarot and use the majors only, you could let the group Intuit what the person's card is, simply by leading them towards it via your mini reading...

I was just about to pop in and say the same Dave!
Really looking forward to seeing what people think of this, as soon as Le Val showed this to Shaun and I we knew that we had to produce it - I've used it a lot in the last few months and it's a real killer!

I use bandanas for a number of things including my "Bandit Peek" so I took the plunge out of curiosity...
And I was pleasantly surprised! This is actually a very lovely and smart update to an old concept. It's nice to have yet another tool to use with my bandana on top of the several I already have. A creative person will easily think of many great ways to use this and I can't see anybody being disappointed with 'Black Flag' at all. This is good stuff. |

The 2nd method is a very old method yet I can’t recall in what book I learned it from, so long ago. The 1st method is very clever, I never thought about. Good teaching and presentations, good method, the download is about 35 mins in length & detailed.

An interesting trick/card force.
To be honest, I guessed how it works when I saw the video, but I didn't know the moves he used to end up there without being noticed. While there are 2 methods in the video, I definitely prefer the 1st one, which looks less suspicious to me, especially since we never touch the deck once it is under the bandana. |

As I said it's a very good trick, but for some reason my first thoughts were the good ones, which simply means it's not bulletproof |

As usual with Lewis' material, I really really like this.
The handling/method is pretty simple--most performers will be able to start doing this seamlessly. I love that it isn't restricted to cards, but anything that can be stacked like a deck: driver's licenses, business cards, tarot, photographs, etc. The handling/process is fantastic because it says everything without saying anything--meaning, the process required for the method actually layers the deception automatically, and you can even eliminate common exposition about you not seeing the card, or touching the deck. You take a deck of cards shuffled by a volunteer, place them under a bandana/napkin/etc and lay it on a surface, or even someone's hand, and from that point, you know the card they will look at--under cover and cut-to. Boom. Such a ridiculously simple idea that is used in a way to achieve massive effect. ||sean ||

Knew the inhands version, but the hands off version was new to me & a great idea.
Very simple but great. This can obviously be used with napkins(which Lewis states), but we carry bottles of wine to produce, bottles to do bottle top or coin in bottle, chop cups etc, so a bandana takes up very little pocket space, so why not carry one to do an impossible looking, hands off force. Afterall, it's the effect created on your audience that counts. Very good. Mike Donoghue |
