Just FYI, there are a number of excellent strategies to make it shorter. I cover a couple of them in the download. But given the method you could use some ace style revelations involving multiple reveals all at the same time. There's a lot of room to move and work to get you there. Feel free to PM me if you have questions about strategies I have evolved since we filmed this and put it out.

Yes, this is a great trick for a lay man audience. And leaves room for many fancy revelations of the mate cards. Also - definitely a great and quick opener if you do it with 5 cards only....

Just wanted to let you know, there is an updated handling with a completely new method that's been dropped into the account of everyone that purchased this. The new version is Suit Cut To Prediction. While maintaining the same structure of cutting to the mates of the cards your spectators are turning over, the cards that are cut out of the deck end up being a prediction of a date, a phone number, or a serial number.
If you already own the effect the new tutorial is the 2nd video in the product and it's already in your account.

I need to practice the "move" taught here, which Erik makes look quite easy, but will take a bit of practice to make smooth -- but it will be worth it. |

While it takes out some of the feeling of the audience being able to shuffle, I think ultimately it ends up being a stronger trick. I used it just a couple of weeks ago when I was at Kellar's Magic & Comedy club in Erie PA. Some lady had thrown a couple of bucks in the tip jar next to the close up table, and I used some conversation to cover setting up the new handling with the serial number on one of the bills she had just taken out of her wallet and given me. It was laying in the tip jar just perfectly so it was clearly the last one put in and I could see the serial number. Just during some conversation I moved a few cards around to get the prediction set up. I think I could have started a religion when I finished the trick. I'm a little sad I will probably never have that good a setup to that trick ever again.
