The tldr: it APPEARS to be an envelope with mult***** **ts. Like, a lot of them. Clearly you cant look inside it, as the trailer suggests. But still.... ! The handling is super non chalant. And it's flat. Ad copy: Here is a new and incredibly mystifying way to make predictions come true! With this system, the spectator can name any card, and then that exact card spills out of the prediction envelope! You can predict playing cards, words written down by the spectator, drawings, ESP symbols, and more! Almost similar reactions, including me. Either this is a big hit or a massive flop. I guess I'll wait for some real reviews.

I don't think it's a huge deal that you can't look inside the envelope.... IF it's true that you don't need to 'force' a card!
I'm guessing it is misleading advertising. I doubt it has 52 outs. probably 5-10 outs. But it's frustrating that this couldn't be clarified in teh ad copy. I asked the guys at vanishing inc. they weren't sure. |

Looks like 6 outs to me... can't remember if it was Spelmann or not who had something very similar in an old dvd

Honestly, the handling does not imply 'empty envelope' to me. He sort of gingerly tips it out. If it's that AND you can't look in it, I'm not sure I think this sounds deceptive enough.
Will look forward to Iain's review as well.

I thought the tipping out and handling looked very fair...
That's why I'm waiting to be disappointed. I'm mainly getting it cos I like it's in an international/American patterned envelope. I have a presentation that fits around that. Expect a very honest review.

Eh, probably just the magician in me watching with jaded eyes.
Definitely want to see what you think though. Side note, I had a pen-pal from Japan back in elementary school (in the 80s - no public internet yet, no email) and I got letters in similar airmail envelopes with the stripey border. I bet a lot of people who grew up before the 90s had pen pals or at least a special relationship with airmail envelopes.

Horses for courses, eh... I like the subtle extra shake of the envelope...I think that's enough of a convincer for me...
Let's see! Dunno when I'll get it but hopefully next week it'll appear...

Am I the only one who is seriously irritated by people who write these hyperbolic titles? "seriously wtf"
They're like those annoying pop up ads you get, "This woman lost 100 pounds eating nothing but chocolate, seriously, wtf!!" We get it, you're going for some click bait. Stop it, if the product is any good it will sell itself. |
