I am planning to purchase Quiver by Kelvin Chow.
However, I am debating whether if I should go with Quiver or Quiver +. From what I understand, for another $10, you receive a Quiver that is 1/2 inch larger on length and width. I am wondering if that extra 1/2 makes much of a difference and if it opens up many more options of what you can place in there. Sometimes smaller is better, just because of the ease of carrying it around. So I am curious if anyone here has any experience with this. Thanks! |

Depends on what you're going to do with it, really.
That larger size does feel nice in my hand and it does seem slightly easier to operate and for people to reach into. It will also be a more comfortable fit for larger coins like silver dollars.

Quiver +. I am replacing all seven of my original 7 quivers with the plus version. I really like its size.
I don't care how fast or slow you are.... As long as I am faster.. -J-

I am thinking about quiver as well. I am practicing Eric Jones flash coins relit. Saw him perform it with a quiver on Penn and Teller. Which size to go with while needing to put 3 walking liberty half dollars inside?

I have just received my Quiver +. I can't compare with Quiver as I only have this one but if it's any help, the 'action' compartment of Quiver + is about 6.5cm high and 8cm wide. I would definitely recommend this model.
As far as the quality and working is concerned, I can't recommend this item enough, it is fabulous! The working is beautiful, I had to watch the video to know how it works its so ingenious, let alone if you hand it out to someone. Get it, you won't be disappointed. |

I'm liking the size of Quiver+. I recommend it, I don't have the original but I wouldn't want it any smaller.

Do you guys now if several small coins fit in the Quiver +? Around 15-20 coins, sizes would be like american pennies, quarters and nickels, let's say 15 in one side and three or four on the other. My idea is to take out the 15 coins from the purse, spectators choose a few coins and drop them on the Quiver, then I switch them, the other coins would be on the table during the switch.

Ellusionist has a 15% sale going on right now, so the Quiver and Quiver + are cheaper than ever.

I just purchased Quiver and really, really like it. I had to come up with my own working for it, since it does not work exactly like the video. When working exactly like the video, it fails to function properly; however, with a little adjustment it works well.
I also love the fact that I can SILENTLY load four quarters and show it empty with no talking. Amazing. One real qualm. It is advertised as real leather, but it is not. It is PU leather, which means it will wear “ugly” and may not last as long as I would like it to. I did order the plus as well, and will use it for Transporter trick, where coins and rings pass from one wallet to another. Different sizes make it better, I think. |

I don't have Quiver, but I do have Quiver+. I also wouldn't want it any smaller. I am thinking about getting a Quiver+ backup. It works great after I spent a little bit of time breaking it in. A great product and so useful. Kudos to Ellusionist and Kelvin for producing this quality product.

I like my Quiver regular just fine. But I might hold out until Quiver Luggage is out.
Wife: "What? You only packed a suitcase full of pajamas?! That's all? For five days?!" You're about to be in BIG trouble with the Mrs. Husband: "Just wait... now watch... (under your breath, "just gotta squeeze this here, hang on, kinda big...") okay, now check this out!" You proudly display you actually did bring your blue jeans, the matching family tie-dye shirt with your names on the back, and even your fanny pack. See? You're not so dumb. (Plus, now you could change a few hundred English pennies to halves to impress and pay for drinks at the hotel bar... "Do you by chance...oh, I don't know...take these?" then thunderous applause and cheers as you look around and nod appreciatively... |

LOL. When is this coming out? I cannot wait to get this. I could change a whole suitcase of boxers into whitey-tightys when asking a spectator, "Boxers or Briefs sir?".... Then, based on the answer, I can do a burn and restore of a pair of whitey-tightys, followed by Slydini's Paper Balls Over Head using several whitey-tightys.
This can be the beginnings of the underwear equivalent of Shin's Dream Act using Quiver Luggage. :) |
