I am choosing a silver coins set and have heard that with some vanishes/routines (such as Eric Jones's evanesce vanish) that there are requirements for the coins used, is this common and therefore should I use half dollars size as they are more versatile; as they make angles much easier?(Note: I am able to comfortably palm silver dollars and would rather a dollar set due to their larger size, but since I am only getting one set I want the most versatile even if it is half dollars). Apart from this, is it easier to perform most routines with a half dollar rather than a silver dollar due to their smaller size to conceal?

It's definitely easier to perform certain sleights with half dollars than dollar size coins but it all depends on what sleights you prefer to use as some work just as well with dollar size coins, so ask yourself the question what sleights do you use the most and go from there.
