I'm sorry I don't have a definite answer for you, but I have had luck with just telephoning shops that have real honest to goodness storefronts, not just online sites. I got Bob Cassidy's Artful Mentalism by calling Williams Magic when nobody else had it (and it wasn't on the site for Williams, but I have had good experiences with them) and they had a copy on the shelf.

I'm sorry I can't help more. I hope you can find someone who carries it. I honestly do think that calling on the phone will work better than just sending an email, if you can manage that.

My two most recent experiences involve:
One online shop listing the book for sale... but it was sold.
One online shop with storefront listing the book for sale... and they didn't have it, nor could they get it.
Maybe this book really is magic... and only appears once every 100 years, like Brigadoon!

If you would be content to read it, take notes, etc., without actually owning it, try the following.

Go to a major-enough library that they can get books from wherever through "inter-library loan." For instance, major university libraries exist in consortiums with other university libraries; they loan each other books all the time.

Leaping Lizards, the original publisher went out of business a few years ago but Walt found another publisher (Lulu, I think)and he was selling copies himself.

I’ve sent Walt a PM about the book a month ago, but it is still unread...

I just spent a few minutes on the Lulu website. I could not find it listed among the books they feature.

Excellent. Been trying to get this one lately. Just placed an order at a shop almost a month ago that never got filled and I had to request a refund.

For those of you thinking about getting this when it becomes available in a month or so, it is one of the most engaging and interesting reads in my library.
