I had the pleasure to play with the gripper coins a few months ago and this is such a revolutionary coin that will make everything you do with coins so much easier.
The gaffs are amazingly engineered and the instructions are awesome.
Just have a look at the trailer and you will see what I mean.

See all of the different options here::

Hmm, interesting concept.
As someone who is plagued by extremely dry hands, these could possibly make my life easier.

Can they still be used with an expanded turtle?

Love it! I don’t see the price for the multipack. I’d love four half dollars

Hi Brent

MoM have the UK, Euro and US versions as single and sets of 4, shipping from the UK here

Single : https://www.magicshop-deals.com/products/gripper-coin

Set of 4 : https://www.magicshop-deals.com/products/gripper-coin-set

I like these for UK 10p coins which are traditionally much more tricky to handle than the larger UK 50 or £2 coins. The 10p coin works well with the UK copper 2p coin, but unlike the 2p coin it has a smooth 'slippery' edge which can be the enemy of palming, so is often overlooked.

Hope this helps

I think this important question needs to be answered before I can consider these.

I would also love to get a one dollar coin, because all my routines are based on dollar coins Smile Half dollar coins just look way too small for my giant hands Smile

10p’s are just ridiculously too small for any kind of effective coin magic so I won’t be wasting my money on these. Very expensive. Space-age technology eh? Well that began in 1957 and I’m sure silicone has been around longer than that.

What about a 2p?

2p or not 2p? That is the question.

I’m really interested in this one. However I wonder if it would ruin the patina on the silver coins or not. Either way I love the concept and would love to use it.

100 pounds to receive 4 10p coins with some silicone wrapped around is insane.

In addition to knowing if these can work in an expanded turtle will they work in an Okito box?

Looking at the powerful endorsements from leading names in magic such as Criss Angel, Shin Lim, David Stone and Joshua Jay, surely this alone will persuade magicians to part with their cash to add such space age technology to their acts.....? With such names, then £100 for 4 ten pence pieces is surely an absolute bargain!!!!! Hmmmm.

Looking at the promo, it looks like these will not fit a turtle, as I notice an an edge sticking out. It looks like these are made for finger manipulation. As someone that had worked with the Miser's Dream for stage coin manipulation, the only coin needed is the Dollar Size coins. These coins also look very thick, manipulation coins are usually thin, so you can hold 10 to 15 coins in a stack.

I have paid, $4.50 per coin from Norm Nielsen, $10 per palming coin for a thin Eisenhower coin, I even tried the other gripper coin by Wong, that cuts into your finger, but $30 per coin is totally out of the question to be used in a manipulation stage act.

Rocco Silano is a great manipulator, but this price and sizes offered missed the mark.

Another question, will these coins, being they are coated, pick up dirt and dust, and if so, can they be easily cleaned?

These can't be for close-up magic use.

Doesn’t that kinda defeat the whole object of these coins?

Wasn't the fad of putting violin bow rosin on the edges, accomplishing the same thing?
