I was on the East Coast Spirit Sessions website, accessed their list of vendors, discovered the Blind Eye Magi website, and saw a splendid vintage-looking 6 inch key for $30.00. I had not heard of the site before, and do not know John Gilmore--whose site it is.
I made a spontaneous purchase, it arrived in two or three days, and the key exceeds my expectations. Best $30.00 I have spent in a long time. Many of you will really like performing with this key. George |

Speaking of large keys, found the key below in a local antique shop. He thought it came from a local prison. It has great action and looks impressive.

A lot for skeleton keys, vintage and replica, look very promising, but may not be sufficiently balanced for a confident ideomotor reflex move during a performance. Try to check that out before you spring for one, or negotiate a free return if it won't turn for you..

John is a great guy with some solid effects. His customer service is top notch. I've spent time with him at ECSS as well as Vince's Bizarre Hauntings conference in Gettysburg. No dog in this fight other than a satisfied customer.

Another oversize key I found in a Home Decor store. Has a great old look and again perfectly balanced for eerie slow movement. Have seen large cast keys in several decor stores as decorating accessories.

George and Dr O, thank you very much for the shout out. I'm glad you enjoy the key. I'm relatively new in the niche but have made many wonderful friends over the past year and a half and enjoy coming up with effects I hope people like.
Stay spooky my friend
