I'm going to Vegas next week and checked out the Excaliber Hotel's website to get info on Jeff Hobson's brand new show there.

Website says the final show will be May 30th. Doesn't say anything about a vacation or temporary closing. Luckily, I'm going to make it in time.

I wonder what went wrong.

I talked to Hobson and he immediately joined the cast of "V" -- a variety show in Las Vegas. I don't know where it is, but all the directories should aim you there.

"V" was playing at the Venetian, as of my last trip to Sin City in the early part of this year.

Yes, Pete is right. Jeff Hobson is now at "V" which is now at the Aladdin. I saw Hobson's money show in May, during the last weekend it was at the Excalibur. It was a very enjoyable show - I laughed hard and even managed to catch $12.00 in crumpled bills.

The audience was very small. Maybe one-third full which was a shame. I did see "V" later the same night at the Aladdin - another small audience, but truely a GREAT show! With Hobson, it has got to be the ultimate variety show in the true sense of the word. The energy in the showroom was tremendous.
