Although there have been many threads on Out Of This World, I still do not know the exact difference between the impromptu versions of U.F. Grant (which I have been using for the last 15 years or so) and the one in Harry Lorayne's "My Favorite Card Tricks", because I don't own the book.
Maybe I missed something in former discussions. I only know, that these two versions are somewhat similar. Could someone please enlighten me? Any hint would be much appreciated! Thanks, Uli |

They're both good and use the principal of the freely shuffled deck with the performer removing the cards from the spread for the first half of the trick. Very good version except it still has the awkward "switching the piles" aspect that nicer versions like "galaxy" have removed.
