I was messing around with something like the lateral palm yesterday and I came across you can hold more than just a few cards. I held the cards with my middle finger and crotch of the index finger. The cards bowed in slightly. Slightly angle the cards so the right corner is in the crotch of your index finger. In this position, you can make a gesture of nothing in your hand. The angles are tricky, but looks VERY open. I keep my fingers apart to show nothing. I push one card forward with my thumb in between my index and middle finger. Lever the card down with your index finger and the card will pop up.

Is this new? Thanks

Does the card pop up over the tops of your fingers?

It sounds like the gambler's cop, if not very close to it.

It is very close to the gambler's cop, I forgot to mention that.

There are a variety of ways to produce the card: Fingertips, framed (perfect production), Getting bigger as you wave, many ways to do it, all you need is imagination.

I made a video of this, for anyone who wants it.

DJ:

Send it over to me at:

magic4u02@aol.com

It sort of seems like a version or variation on the perfect production.

I really like this! It is almost similar to a certain production that I am completely blanking on the name of. I learned it from Drawing Room Deceptions, and it involves pivoting the block of cards like its just one.

Dear djvirtualreality, hello all, this is the "Perfection Card Production" (attention: "Perfection" not "Perfect" as McBride say in his videos) executed on the court sides. Of course if you palm the cards for the "Perfection Card Production" you must use a palm called "Spring Palm" but if you like to produce the cards from the short sides, you are "forced" (the card side is short and your second finger is too long) to use another palm (eg: Lateral Palm). Ciao. Stephan

But... I hope you know the "Perfection Card Production" also explained in the McBride's Videos (as "Perfect Production"). The only difference with your handling is that you produce the cards by the short sides.

That production isn't new... it's the same... if you did a palm anbut turned the coin on it's tedge would that make it any less of a palm/??? would you say yeah I invented that?? neck no. plus if you watch the mc bride videos he touches on that same production when he explains a japanese production using that same palm but pushed behind his hand look at those videos.

The "Japanese Card Production" as on the AOCM3. Yes you are right, he did breifly describe it, yet it's not exact. It looks just like that though.

Still, it's a variant, not an entirely new production. Plus, how would you get into this position?

I don't know, I'm not a manipulator. I just thought of it, I wouldn't actually use it.
