Julian Moore asked me to give a review of his Post-it Justify.
It's 36 pages long and jampacked with ideas and techniques including peeks, switches and tagging billets made from post it notes. A lot of work has gone into the text, the writing is clear, and illustrated with photographs throughout. He comes up with some clever ideas for making use of the specific qualities of Post-it notes including the sticky side. The text includes a few effects. However, if you like using billets, then the applications are endless. If billet work is something you use or would like to then Post-it Justify is worth getting a hold of. A fresh approach using Post-its. Shrink |

Though I've only had the chance to skim over the material thus far, I must say that this is a solid bit of insight that every modern-day Mentalist needs to take a look at.
The Post-it pad is a part of our world culture and for no other reason, we should invest a bit of time in becoming familiar with it and how to use it to our advantage. Bev has pulled together some sound, creative routines as well as some very clever thinking. I'll be posting more about this tome later, after I've had time to give it a good looking over and some "real world" use. For now, I can only give it a big thumbs up, however. |

Could someone give a brief overview of the effects included or the types of effects possible with this material? Neither of the reviews here has gone in-depth about what is actually in the book itself other than the overall idea of using Post-it notes in mentalism.

I put this review elsewhere:
Bev has given you a lot of ideas with this book. I can't believe someone has taken the time to do so much work with these little pads. I'm especially keen on his idea for tagging the notes and the use of "memory" within these notes. Some solid thinking in this ebook. Great work, Bev. Greg

Post-it notes are everywhere! I think this is a great idea. I'll have to check it out. Is this an ebook, BTW?

I am glad that someone had the insight and imagination to think up some create uses for the post-it notes. Besides the torn and restore post it note by Osterlind, I was a loss as to what other effects can be done before doing the torn/restored effect.

Aha, it is actually a SIGNED torn and restored (and burned) psot-it note.
RIchard's mind mysteries vol.4 (i think, or 3). Bev- Why can't you release this as some lecture notes? I refuse to buy a ebook, I loathe them and I really want to read your work. It won't cost you much money to print them, honestly .

Ermmm....whats the difference between you printing them out or me printing them out?
But saying that....perhaps I should look into it... I buy ebooks all the time and simply print them out and bind them myself. I can't stand reading them on the computer. I have to say when you're on a Mac and you want to print out the ebooks that come in html format from lybrary.com it's a complete nightmare...however, my book comes as a pdf. I like pdf's. They are easy to print. I just press 'print'. I'm honoured you want to read my book! I will think about perhaps printing them myself if I get enough interest for a hard copy. |

Also to answer your question about the difference of us printing them and you...for me to order an e-book, I have to use a credit card. Too easy for my wife to track mentalism purchases.
Maybe I'll just send you a money order...when you get it, you can send the PDF LOL |

Ok, how about this
If you're interested in a hard copy of Post Justify, email me and put POST JUSTIFY as the subject Then I can see how many people would like a hard copy, and work out if it's worth it etc This will also help me gauge how many people DON'T like ebooks! Thanks again for the interest The system chopped my email its bevvyb at mac dot com |

Hi Bev, had some time to read and re read your work. Great
ideas and applications ! I just also received my copy of Peek Encores. Your methods and uses are of the same "high" caliber of those in Richard Busch's book. Perhaps better, especially for those who use Post it Notes regularly. The practical applications of something so common in our work and home lives, are so worthy of being included in the ranks of Anneman and the other great billet works of our time. I have some original ideas with billet work too! Sincerely John Nesbit |
