I've done a search on levitation methods, but I haven't found a thread that answered my question.
I love performing guerilla magic. I'm interested in a feedback for any levitation methods for a dancer. Everytime I hit a hip-hop club, I tend to battle other dancers and I figured that a levitation would suit my dancing style well. I've performed the king rising levitation before, but it can't be performed surrounded, which is a drawback since I'm the center of a huge circle. I've also thought about zero gravity. I thought about using it if I didn't do much footwork, but I do a move called a glide which heavily depends on a shoe without the zero gravity's construction. So I crossed off that method. I'm not too concerned about people seeing my feet if I wear a black sock since the lighting is bad. So if nothing else works, I might have to resort to my zero gravity sneakers. Can the elevator or E2 solve my problem? Any other options? Thanks, Lance

Lance,
I don't think there's a levitation method that it isn't angle sensitive |

Again, the elevator can't be done surrounded, but you can do a full rotation in the air, if done quickly, you just need to have no one behind you. You could back to the edge of the circle, and do it, but that is my only suggestion.

Thanks for the feedback.
So with the elevator, is it plainly visible from behind even with very low lighting? Brian, if I stand in front of someone with my back behind him, how far forward do I have to be before it becomes visible. Because I can probably stand in front of one of my trustworthy friend while doing the levitation (hopefully he doesn't see how the levitation is done, but if he does, not much a problem since we do share magic secrets). I would say it is still plainly visible from the back. You wouldnt have to be that far at all before it becomes visible. If they can see the back of your feet period they will see the gimmick. Hope that helps.
