I posted this question in The Workshop and got a few responses. I'd really like all of your advice on this.
I found a great deal on Bicycle Cards. I got 100 decks for very cheap. They are Pinochle decks so I have lots and lots of court cards. Any ideas of what type of gaffed decks I can make other than 52 of one card or a 6 card force deck? I have 50 ea. of blue and red. After going through and sorting the bluebacks, I found an extra benefit. I now have over 2 decks worth of BLANK blueback bikes and nearly 2 decks worth or redback blanks. Please, Your ideas are welcome. :bluebikes:

I buy Pinochle decks just to do "Card Warp" with, as the court cards are the most visible when folded in half.
You can also combine your court cards with double facers to make Wild Card Sets. With a third color back, you can build Cardboard Chameleon sets. At the very least, you have plenty of cards with which to practice your Mercury Fold. TCR |

With all those duplicates, you could do many effects by Guy Hollingworth. Check out his book for suggestions, and you'll also learn his killer Reformation.

A couple of thoughts.
1. Someone selects a card, and it is the only number card in a deck of all face cards. 2. Duplicate cards for torn & rstd effects. 3. You can make 'thick cards' by cutting out the jacks, queens, kings from one card and gluing it to another card. 4. Using the above method of cutting and gluing, you can make mis-faced cards. IE: the queen of hearts has a king picture, but still has the Q and heart as the corner pips. these are only a few ideas. more will come to me as time goes on. Chad |

I've been using a one way f-deck, face-up to give the "only" choice. It throws them off guard and the classic f---- becomes even easier as the suspicion level drops considerably. After the laugh, I reveal they chose the only card with a different colored back. Half is red, half is blue and their card has a black back and separates the other 2 colors.
I'm still open to other ideas. Please share.
