12 years ago I had a friend bring me a bottle of something that produced smoke when you passed air through it. Would any one be interested in this product, as I am thinking about marketing it again?
It is a little corrosive, so you must not get it near your precious coins or jewelry. But it produces beautiful white clouds of smoke. What would you pay for something like this? Jim

I saw a tube of stuff, I think at Magic Max's store, that you rubbed on your fingers and smoke came from it. I think I saw a post about burning strikers from matchbooks as well to get crystals that smoke.
I personally like fire and smoke, but play in hospitals and do shows for the developmentally disabled and also children, so any of that is out for me. I also do not get to do any loud noises or a lot of the other stuff most folks do. I think that there would be a market if it was easy enough to use and fairly stable in composition. I would have gotten a tube of that other stuff if I had a use in my act. Don't base anything on me though because I work with a tiny sliver of the population that no one else does. Mike :light:

I would be interested depending on the delivery system used, and of course the price. Also, safety is an issue, so that is something to think about too.
Obviously one would need refills, and that could play a factor, price wise as well.

To be honest, I am sure that you have heard of S.F.B. 2000. It is funny how things get around. I sold a very similar device many years ago, so if you are familiar with it then you know that the delivery system is very safe. Beautiful white clouds of smoke emit from the palms of your hands.
I am interested in what you all think it should cost. What is your impulse price? I only ask because the kit is not that expensive and does not need to be.

I think that it's a great idea Jim! I like doing cigarette vanishes where the cigarette disappears in a puff of smoke. Generally, I would inhale some smoke from a lit cig then blow it into my hand as my pull vanished the cig. One problem with that is I don't smoke and I can't stand the taste, so if your product can produce the same effect... my health and I thank you.
As for how much it should cost, I think, depending how many refills came with it if any, around the price of your Pheonix... so approx.$29 US. Great Idea! |

Thank you. That is exactly what I was thinking!

I got a thing called Ultra Smoke. It was really expensive, but the effect of a small puff of smoke at your fingers as you vanish a coin is wonderful.
This sounds like the same stuff. I did not realize you had to take the canister out and stopper it for storage, so it completely rotted the jacket and disolved all the saftey pins holding it in the jacket. Really corrosive stuff! It's great if handled properly, although you need to watch using it in confined space a lot, as it makes you choke. Not sure it's too good to inhale Stephen |

This sounds like the product. Yes, you need to take care of it or it will corrode any metals.
I have found a chemical-resistant bottle and tubing and feel this will help a lot.
