Those who perform this trick, owe a debt of gratitude to Marvin Levy! --That was his name when I first saw him perform as "The Silk Merchant" in the 1950 IBM Convention.
Of course, they also owe gratitude to Edison! If he hadn't invented the light bulb, we would be watching TV by candle light! heehee
