Anyone hear of his image floating over the castle? Is it something they project?

I went in September, and saw nothing floating around. I am going again on the 18th this month, I will let you know then.

I am going to see Chris DePalma, as he is the one who invited me. But I also look foreward to all of the other acts.

A friend that was visiting Hollywood Magic said they were talking about it. No one knew if it was a stunt or something they just started doing. It sounds cool, though. I wish they'd do it for all the past greats as a tribute.

However, he does "look down" upon the Castle visitors.

I sure would like to know if the castle is or isn't showing images on certain nights.
Maybe the Hollywood magic guys were pulling the legs of patrons, I'm not sure. But, I still think it would be a great idea to cast images of Vernon, Charlie Miller,Jay Ose, Larry Jenning's, etc. It would be a nice tribute and maybe get a lot more folks talking about the castle.

Whenever/IF they put up an image of his *head* they sure should have the loudspeaker on, and letting him throw out a few words, in his own inimitable voice, I'm almost sure, it would draw crowds.. !
DV was simply outstandingly GREAT!!! Alone hearing his characteristic voice telling whatever story, was a threat and a highlight of anybodys lifetime! I personally had the pleasure of meeting him entirely *in private*, together with Jay Ose, whilst they where passing through my *hoemtown* here at CPH, Aug. 29th 1964, Jay was picking up a Volkswagen he somehow *got*.. Apart from this -of course- I had the pleasure of meeting DV on convetion (s) here in Europe, I best recall Munich 1981. DV was a hell of an entertaining storyteller!!! He even (when being in CPH) mentioned Irene Larsen (a fellow German) and how much he liked her..

I heard another sighting of Vernon's head over the castle. This may be something they're doing for halloween. Laypeople see it as an "ghostly" figure, but it's an inside joke to Magi.

Genii magazine will be publishing THE VERNON TOUCH Column from Genii magazine (in book form) in the near future...possibly by the end of the year. It will be a huge book (probably over 500 pages) with lots of stories and a few tricks.
