Can anyone list what the specifics of the Klondike Shuffle are? I'm aware that the top and bottom cards of the deck are removed together, but are there certain principles involved like the Faro Shuffle has? Thanks! Smile

One of the practical applications is that by doing a Klondike shuffle you convert a cyclical stack into mirror stack. In "My Best Self-Working Card Tricks", Karl Fulves included a chapter on the KS, plus some other effects in which the shuffle mixes face-up and face-down cards.

Some of the effects contained in the books "Sub Rosa" from Werner Miller use the Klondike shuffle as well as other non-standard card shuffles.
