How is this performed/presented. is this the one where the restraints are used in a thin model. Don,

One of the best presentations is Mark Kalin's. It was on the "Hidden Secrets of Magic" special.

It is basically the Wakeling routine. As to method, it is explained in the Wakeling book. But it does use restraints on a thin model looking box table. But it is not a thin model sawing.

Selbit's sawing is described in detail in Jim Steinmeyer's book "The Complete Jarrett". The girl's head and feet stayed inside the box the whole time, much like the Wakeling Sawing, but metal and glass plates were put into the box at different angles, splitting the box into many small sections. I can't remember if restraints were used, but can check the book later if you'd like. LMK.

Yeah, the girl was tied at the ankles and wrists like in the Wakeling. She wasn't actually sawed in half until the finish, though, after all the blade work.
