What dealers sell this trick? Where can it be bought?
The description and photo:
Appearing Hexagons.
Two beautifully decorated black boards are shown front and back. (And they are beautifully decorated with gold etching.) The magician holds the left board parallel to the floor and holds the right board vertically. When the right board is moved away, a large gleaming hexagon has appeared. This is repeated until no less than four hexagons have appeared, and there is absolutely no clue as to their mysterious arrival. They really seem to have appeared from nowhere!

Hi. Alex! I know Practical Magic in England carries it. Here's the link:

http://www.practical-magic.com/general.html

I'm not sure who else carries them. Let me know how they are. I have been thinking of getting them to add to a Dream Bag Routine.

Fyi...a similar item is usually available from advertising specialty company's this time of the year. They print a different month of the new year on each "side" and your company's/business' logo etc. for you to give away free to business contacts.

These hexagon (actually dodecahedrons) shapes are commonly given away as free gifts. Since they have 12 sides, it's only natural that they make them into calendars. It's common knowledge to anyone who has ever seen one that they are collapsible, which might lessen the mystery for at least some of the audience.

Yes it is that, but it's only a part of a trick.

Why do the dealers inisist on calling them hexagons, instead of the correct term dodecahedron. Now it may be a larger word but it really does wind me up as I browse through my catalogue!

I listed a place in my previous post --- Practical Magic in England. Click above and check on their site for the e-mail or phone. I have not seen it advertised anywhere else and if you noticed 188 people have viewed your post. Good luck!
