The lists below are of some common items that may be found in specific situations.
By no means do these lists cover all possible items. Hopefully this can be used as a guide when learning, buying and creating impromptu type effects and routines. What common items do people have on their person?
Banquet & Restaurants
Diners would be a bit different and often have Paper Napkins,Paper Plates & Cups, Plastic Forks, Cups, etc, Stirrers, Condiments. Tavern & Bar
Office
Every ones habits, work place, hang outs and homes are different. Items in these places vary greatly. Explore your environment and see what other items you can come up with. :spoon: I hope you find this useful. |

Interesting lists, Jaz. Excellent fodder for rumination and strategic planing. Rather than a pocketful of "tricks", instead you opt to be prepared for whatever might be at hand. Jazz magic, for sure. I like the idea of minimizing the number of props carried in the pockets and substituing instead those common items found in various settings. Just imagine what miricles might be affected. Thanks for taking the time to share!!

The Greater Magic Library Tape of Jay Marshall doing "Table Crap" is a great source of impromptu tricks using common items on a restaurant table.

That's a serious list one to ponder over for many years.
